Acanthurus leucosternon or Powder Blue Tang is a type of fish with spines on each side of the base of its tail stalk. These spines are similar to scalpels that function to protect themselves from predators. The body shape of the powder blue tang fish is laterally compressed oval and has a small mouth with small sharp teeth.
